African-American History Month
We look forward to showcasing the achievements of African-Americans the month of February during our Morning Meetings.
Quarter 3 Eagle Hour
We recommend Eagle Hour for all GOAL students. This is a time to meet fellow GOALIES each week. Students will be required to attend Eagle Hour, if they have 5 or more unexcused absences or they have a D or an F on their Report Card or Interim.
11th Graders: ACT
You will take the ACT at Houston High School on Tuesday, March 21st.
- Room Assignments will be emailed to students individually.
- Students must be in their assigned testing room at 7:45 AM on Tuesday, March 21st.
Non-Act Test Instructions: Ms. Carnathan emailed communication to you Wednesday, March 8th.
Please set up your My ACT account before Tuesday, March 21st.
End of Quarter 3: March 20th
Goalies,
Quarter 3 Grades will pull from Pearson on Monday, March 20th.
Report Cards will post in Skyward on Wednesday, March 29th.
- If you have failing grades on assignments- ask for retake opportunities.
- If you are late submitting work, please make certain that you have successfully completed all work, Monday, March 20th.
- Grades shown in Pearson on March 20th will be what is posted in Skyward for your Quarter 3 report card.
March 23: Chromebook Swap Out Day
GOALIES,
Students in grades K-11 will need to turn in current Chromebooks on March 23rd. A new Chromebook will be issued the same day.
March 23rd from 9AM-3PM, K-11th graders can show up to the district office any time to swap out their device. If they are unable to make this day and time, they can email Mr. Wise to schedule another day to swap out here at the district between the hours of 9AM-3PM.
All Seniors will return their device after May 5th, at Houston High School Tech office or front office.
By doing this swap now to one of the newer devices, they will not need to swap another device for 3 years.
