May 2023 – On Saturday, May 6, GOAL students came to the district office to celebrate the closing of the school year! Students and their families were able to come together to visit with each other before summer break. There were games to play like bowling, cornhole, and board games. For these students, it was a great time to get to be with their fellow schoolmates, and the GOAL families were also able to get to know each other. GOAL principal Heather Fisher said this about the event, “At GOAL our purpose is to prepare students for their tomorrow. We may learn virtually, however at the root of what we do, we are about connection, community.” GOAL works to host these events each month to further the connection between students and their families alike.
GOAL will next be celebrating the seniors’ graduation on May 18 at 6:30pm at the district office. Congratulations to all GOAL students on a wonderful year, and a special congratulations to their seniors!
