Through flexibility, structure, and independence, Lennox has created a school experience that works for his goals—both inside and outside the classroom.

If Lennox’s virtual school day had a theme song, it would be “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve. The song reflects the balance of hard work and reward that comes with managing school, responsibilities, and personal growth.

While GOAL allows students the freedom to learn from almost anywhere, Lennox prefers working from his desk. Having a dedicated workspace helps him stay organized, focused, and productive throughout the day.
An Unexpected Favorite Class
Lennox was surprised to discover how much he enjoys Language Arts. What began as an unexpected interest has become a class he genuinely loves, offering opportunities to think creatively and strengthen communication skills.
A Dream GOAL Field Trip
If Lennox could plan a GOAL field trip, he would choose Urban Air—a fun and energetic destination that reflects his appreciation for hands-on experiences and team-building activities.
The Best Part of Virtual Learning
For Lennox, the biggest advantage of being a virtual student is the ability to create his own schedule. This flexibility allows him to manage his schoolwork efficiently while making time for other important responsibilities.
Learning Through Entrepreneurship
Beyond academics, Lennox has taken initiative by starting his own pool cleaning and maintenance service. He launched the business last summer after gaining experience maintaining his family’s pool. Since then, he has built a solid client base and plans to grow the business as the weather warms up. This real-world experience has helped Lennox develop responsibility, time management, and entrepreneurial skills that will benefit him well beyond high school.
