Welcome to GOAL!
The Germantown Online Academy of Learning is Germantown Municipal School District’s premier virtual school. We began serving K-12 students in August 2021. We are a tuition free school for families residing within Shelby County, TN, and we utilize the Village Virtual Platform. Our students learn asynchronously with opportunities for synchronous learning.

Why Should I Choose GOAL?
GOAL aims to provide each student with an individualized plan that allows them to pursue their other passions and goals outside of school, and we allow for flexible scheduling. We have students who are entrepreneurs, music artists, and competitive athletes. At GOAL, our purpose it to prepare our students for their tomorrow.
What does a typical day look like for a Golden Eagle?
Through flexible scheduling, each day can look a little different for each of our students, but we provide a structured start to each day with our Morning Meetings. This is a time for our GOAL staff and students to touch base and make sure that each of our students is ready to take on the day! Students at GOAL are offered 6 hours of instructional time each day, but many of our students are able to finish their required work well in advance of the 6 hour mark.
